Tree Canopy Conservation Ordinance – Public Information Meeting

Hello Decatur neighbors! The Decatur City Commission has voted to adopt a new Tree Canopy Conservation Ordinance that will go into effect on July 7, 2014 and will be holding a public information meeting TODAY from 6pm – 8pm in the Community Room at the Leveritt Public Works Building. The purpose of the new ordinance is to modernize the current ordinance (which dates back to 1988) and to encourage the conservation of existing tree canopy.
